Have I shared this recipe before?
Only about 504 times in coaching sessions, nutrition seminars and meal plans. So I thought I should probably post it for the world to experience this delectable, simple and whole food treat; instead of store-bought preservative filled cookies 🙂
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 1/4 cup dates
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt (or Kosher salt)
- 1-2 tsp cocoa powder
- 2-3 tsp organic coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- chocolate chips
Chop almonds in food processor. Add all other ingredients (besides chocolate chips) and blend together in food processor. Press into a baking dish. Sprinkle desired amount of chocolate chips on top and press down into bars. Let this deliciousness set in the refrigerator for at least an hour. Cut into bars and enjoy!!
