Healthy coffee??? My new favorite way to start the morning with a little “treat.”
This is my own version of a recipe, shared by two fabulous coaches on my Beachbody team.
- one cup of hot coffee
- 1/4 – 1/2 tsp organic coconut oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp organic coconut sugar (for some added sweetness)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
Put all in the blender (I use a Magic Bullet) and mix for about 30 seconds. You end up with a perfectly frothy latte – much healthier than Starbucks, low calories, no added artificial sweeteners AND the coconut oil makes an awesome lip balm on these cold mornings!
